The Glass Room Community Edition

From take-away information in a Helsinki metro station to galleries, museums, schools, libraries and conferences: numerous requests to easily install the Glass Room in a wide variety of places led to the development of the compact Community Edition. The artworks in this portable version of the Glass Room can be transported flexibly on trains or planes and are easy to set up.

Like its older “siblings”, the Community Edition not only creates a space for conversations about data and its protection, but also provides a good basis for local accompanying programmes like workshops, lectures and guided tours. It is available in various languages and has already been exhibited in over 30 countries.

  • transfer of the Glass Room exhibition concept to exhibition posters
  • simplification of the exhibition objects as 3D objects for the poster exhibition
  • translation of the data from Alphabet Empire into a sequence of numbers grouped by category
  • development of a writable and interactive drawing template
  • preparation of data and supervision of production
  • multiple installations of the exhibitions on site
